Matt is currently a principal security consultant for Buro Happold and specialises in physical security and risk mitigation in the built environment. Matt had a long career in retail security and worked mainly in the luxury goods market, including jewellery and watches. He was the UK Security Director for the Richemont Group and also worked as the security lead for the UK and France for the Ralph Lauren Corporation.
Matt is a former police officer and spent five years working as a security consultant in the public and private sectors. His MSc dissertation related to UK Counterterrorist legislation and he has a particular interest in Martyn’s Law and its impact on all aspects of security management.
