Karen Warwick

BP

Karen is the Global Mobility and Convenience Senior Security Manager at BP. Prior to this she worked in the charity sector and was the Programme Manager for the National Autistic Society (NAS). She has served as an Officer in the Royal Air Force and been deployed on operations across the globe. She has an MA in Social Policy & Law and an MSc in European Law.

Karen lives in the Lake District and in her spare time enjoys hill walking. She is a qualified mountain leader and outdoor instructor; in recent years she has led youth expeditions to Mongolia, China, Indian Himalayas and Moroccan Atlas Mountains. She is also a Duke of Edinburgh instructor and assessor.

Karen sits as a Presiding Judge (Adult & Family specialist) and is currently serving as Chair of the Northwest Cumbria Judicial Bench.

As an autistic person, she is passionate about helping raise awareness and working towards reducing the inequalities and challenges faced by neurodiverse individuals.
