Stewart has been with Thames Valley Police since 2001 when he joined from West Yorkshire and has worked across multiple disciplines, major crime, firearms officer, control room Force Incident Manager and force lead for Neighbourhood Policing.
Latterly Stewart has been the portfolio lead for the force’s response to retail crime, creating internal and external governance structures whilst driving the operational response. He is part of the team that created the community event ‘Fighting Back Against Retail Crime’ and is personally invested with 3 members of his family who work within a retail setting. Stewart is married with 3 teenage children, loves watching and refereeing rugby and is a keen ‘cold water’ practitioner.
