With over two decades of experience, Adriaan has crafted and implemented security strategies for multinational companies operating in complex environments. His career, which began in 2003, spans across four continents, bringing a global perspective to his work.
Adriaan has extensive experience in the retail sector, having held key roles such as Head of Loss Prevention for major African corporations. He has successfully developed and implemented strategic frameworks for loss prevention, security services, and systems across thousands of retail locations. His expertise includes guarding, close protection, event security, surveillance, physical penetration testing, project management, and crime and data analytics.
Currently, Adriaan is leading consultancy efforts on several iconic international projects. His role involves developing comprehensive security frameworks and strategic guidance for high-profile developments, including mixed-use spaces, high-rise buildings, and large-scale public safety facilities. Adriaan’s expertise is grounded in a military background, complemented by a hands-on approach to security solutions.
