“The best Awards show I have ever attended… anywhere…”

Guests at the inaugural Pride of Retail Risk Awards Gala dinner were treated to an epic night of high drama. Hosted by TV legend, Sian Jones, the Awards celebrated the acts of heroism, kindness and compassion shown by frontline retail workers to customers, colleagues and general members of the public.

At times hilarious and at others deeply moving, the emotional rollercoaster proved to be both entertaining and thought provoking, with Awards recipients receiving standing ovations.

In a nod to the Pride of Britain Awards, each winner’s story was told with video footage especially recorded for the event, on a large mainstage screen, to rapt attention from the audience.

Following the Awards, dinner was served with all of the talk being about the amazing stories that had been shared and the deservedness of the winners.

The evening was topped off by a stellar performance from total rockstars, The Kings, who had the dancefloor rammed for their set playing until midnight.

Many people have commented on social media that Retail Risk – London, which the Awards followed, was one of the best. Comments included “Great conference yesterday… possibly the best ever!” And the new Pride of Retail Risk Awards was similarly praised by others as being “The best Awards show I have ever attended… anywhere.”
